According to the Seoul District Precinct on the 14th, they have indicted 9 people without detention including a 'Park', who is a 24-year-old idol-turned-actor for doing drugs including marijuana, MDMA (Ecstasy), and ketamine, and arrested two others for smuggling, growing, and selling marijuana.

According to the police, 'Park' had been caught trying to smuggle ketamine into Canada by hiding it in his bags. However, they were caught by customs and refused entry into the country. After being informed by the Vancouver resident officer, the police investigated Park for marijuana usage. They tested positive and confessed to using marijuana, MDMA (Ecstasy), and ketamine.
Futher investigation of Park revealed that Park and a friend had smoked marijuana in a hotel in Gangnam. They also arrested two, including a 32-year-old Jung who sold them the marijuana. Jung had been smuggling marijuana seeds from England through international mail, and had been growing them at their villa. When the police investigated their house, they found marijuana being grown in a tent with ventilation and lighting systems. They confiscated the marijuana that was being grown, 82 g of dried marijuana, and smoking devices.
The police said, "Some countries have legalized recreational marijuana. There are a lot of cases where friends, centered around students from these countries, smoke together." The police believe there are more cases where marijuana seeds are smuggled and grown, and will be furthering their investigation.
