During an interview with 'High Cut', Na-Eun shared her thoughts on being the 'center' of A Pink, the 7-year jinx, and more.

A Pink are soon celebrating their 7th anniversary, which is known to be a time of struggle for many idol groups. Na-Eun spoke about the 7-year jinx, saying, "When I tell people we are 6 years old, they tend to be surprised and say, 'It's been that long?' But with our members' faith and affection for one another as well as trust from our fans, I think we can last long without worrying about the 7-year jinx."

In Korea, 5 years is equal to 6 years... so when we talk about age from korean perspective, i don't know why but, we have to add one year. For example, if you are 16 years old, and then in Korean year, you are 17 years old. So, Apink is 5 years in international age but 6 years when in korean age... I hope this will help....

She's center since she's the visual and she's also said that she's center because she's right at the middle in terms of age. Eunji is just more popular and is the lead singer.

http:// www. calculator. net/age-calculator.html ... <-- I use this URL for AGE calculations (INTL). So, APink Group did their debut songs for purchase in APRIL 2011. So, using the calculator, that makes it 5 years and 4 months since that took place.

I assume they don't count group ages the way they do with human age.. it's more like a school system or something like that.. like when they debut, they're automatically on the 1st year until the anniversary, then they enter the 2nd year and so on.. they already finished their 5th year last April so APink is basically on their 6th year now.. ^^

KOREAN Age means that you are 'AGE = 1' on the day of your birth.

working year as in the number of years that a group is active and working.. as in why are we using the human age system to count the year a group is active and working? ._.

Well, the 5 years and 4 months manner (my top first message) that I did calculate the APINK Group activity time span seems logical to me. If NOT for you, then you are surely entitled to your viewpoint. I am going to say 'bye' on this topic at this point ... :-)

I hope this article open the eyes of all people applying the 7 year jinx on apink. You know what even those group think they will stay forever but anything can happen. However it's bad hoping the group will disband or become ruined. I said this to represent all fans og the disbanded group. Apink fighting!!!

It only applies to people who haven't lost a member in those seven years. Apink lost one during their debut.

So peopl understand it better, here's a direct translation of their interview. They aren't saying Apink is 6 years old, but that Apink is currently on their 6th year, which is true. They're 5 full years old and are going through their 6th year right now. Allkpop just translated it a little odd.
