Despite currently ongoing issues surrounding THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense)
and China and Korea's relations, upcoming Chinese - Korean film 'Kite Flying
' has officially received authorization to premiere.
Reportedly, the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television issued an authorization for the film, due to the fact that there were no reasons the film would have any negative effects on Chinese audiences. The film has now received the clear to determine a premiere date, and it could be as early as this year.
'Kite Flying', starring EXO's Lay, f(x)'s Krystal, UNIQ's Yibo, and more, tells the story of a Chinese singer (Lay) and Korean dancer (Krystal) as they fall in love despite cultural differences.
