Song Joong Ki's agency addresses rumors that he is confirmed for Chinese drama

However, the actors' agency squashed those rumors stating that currently, the only future project planned for Song Joong Ki is 'Battleship Island.' 

Last month, a Chinese media outlet reported that Song Joong Ki was the prime male lead contender for a drama titled 'Honey, the Scent of Love (literal title and subject to change).' The report had further claimed that once Song Joong Ki is done filming for 'Battleship Island,' he will enter filming for the drama right away. It was also reported that the 'Descendants of the Sun' production crew will be producing this series.

Regarding these speculations, Song Joong Ki's agency clarified, "Aside from 'Battleship Island,' no other projects have been confirmed. [Song Joong Ki] is currently receiving a lot of offers form both Korea and China but he hasn't decided on any project. We have to look more carefully into the offer from 'Honey, the Scent of Love.'"
