The struggle is nowhere near its end in the ongoing case between Kim Hyun Joong and his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Choi.
On July 19, Ms. Choi announced through her legal representative that she plans to sue Kim Hyun Joong for perjury. The representative explained, "Mr. Lee, who appeared as the witness at the trial on July 19, was discovered to be a fan club member. It is highly inappropriate to use a fan club member as a witness. Mr. Lee stated, 'Kim Hyung Joong hyung apologized to Ms. Choi on his birthday'; however, perjury is highly suspected. We will soon take legal actions against it."

Currently, Kim Hyung Joong and Ms. Choi are battling for 1.6 billion KRW in compensatory damage.
