MBC cancels airing of new drama 'Picnic' starring Yuri and Chanyeol

Previously, EXO's Chanyeol and Girls' Generation's Yuri reportedly joined a new production titled 'Gaia'. 

Then, on June 13, the drama's side announced,"'Picnic' is the new title of the drama that was previously reported as 'Gaia'. It was originally scheduled to air after 'Monster', but [that plan] is now cancelled. Unfortunately, the airing date is still unknown."

Actors Kang Ha Neul and Seo Jun Oh also rejected the offers for the male lead a while back, while actress Cho Eun Su also rejected the offer for the female lead. Currently, Yuri and Chanyeol are the only confirmed cast members for 'Picnic'. It seems like fans will have to wait a little longer to see the idol actors in the new drama.
