Mystic Entertainment has belatedly announced that Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In has filed a lawsuit against netizens and media outlets spreading rumors involving herself and boyfriend Joo Ji Hoon.

On June 1, the agency stated, "After what happened early last month, we immediately filed a complaint at the prosecutor's office for defamation of character and interfering with business. Dozens of people, from the media outlet that first spread the rumors and the netizens who made malicious comments, have been charged. We've already sent in the screencaptured evidence and are waiting for the prosecution to start."

Previously, sexually explicit images and videos of two people who were alleged to be Ga In and Joo Ji Hoon were spread online. Their agencies quickly shut the rumors down, but it seems they caused enough damage.

Joo Ji Hoon's agency Keyeast Entertainment also commented, "We've received apologies and corrected reports from the media outlets, and we'll respond with that consideration. We plan to respond in a way that won't let someone suffer this kind of harm because he's famous. However, we're still considering how we'll respond."

It seems only fair. If the idols are going to be subjected to a fanbase comprised of sexually devolved and ignorant psychopaths, they should be able to sue them when they lie. IF the "culture" were more advanced in its sexuality, this would have been a help to her career and suing wouldn't be necessary.

It is SEVERE, these 'nude photos' that were later found to be FALSE information. A 'For Profit' K-News Website should *know* that they need to VERIFY the validity of information that they 'repeat' it. Or, face the *Legal Liability* (Financial = $$$$) and even *Criminal* consequences that might result from the SLANDER activity. And S.KOREAN LAW is *much* more RESTRICTIVE than most 'Western Nations' with regard to 'Freedom of Speech' Laws and 'Slander' Laws. And GA-IN is only doing what a LOT of other K-Celebrities have already done it. K-Celebrities depend on their 'good name' to *retain* fans and procure *future* employment in Entertainment Industry jobs. So, that is a *good* reason for GA-IN to actively *discourage* this type of 'slander' behavior aimed at her (the fake nude photos) in this situation.

No kidding. They should just ignore it. People can't stand it because they're one of the sexiest couples in entertainment. Lord help anyone that doesn't act like they're 12 forever.

These POLICE INVESTIGATIONS into this type of 'slander' behavior has resulted in FINANCIAL FINES for many ADULTS who have done this behavior. In the case of TABLO and the TAJINYO Group, memberss of TAJINYO actually did do PRISON TIME as a result of being prosecuted. RARE on PROSECUTION; mostly the K-Celebrity allows for paying a FINANCIAL FINE and COMMUNITY SERVICE as punishment enough.
