Somi is taken to the hospital on 'Produce 101'

To recap, the members of 'Produce 101' were divided into teams this week. Each team competed with one other team performing the same song.

Somi's team was named the team feared the most as their members were known to be skillful and popular with viewers. The team was slated to perform Girls' Generation's 'Into The New World', but Somi experienced severe pain during practice.

She was left with the extremely difficult decision of staying and practicing with her team or taking precious time out in order to go to the hospital.

She tearfully stated, "I want to stay and practice; if I leave, I'll fall behind during the time I'm away. I want to learn quickly, but my body won't listen to me because of the pain."

The JYP trainee was ultimately taken to the hospital to receive care.
