INFINITE's 'choding' Sungyeol attended the press conference for JTBC disaster drama 'D-Day' on September 15 at the Imperial Palace Hotel, where he explained the reasons for his joining this production.

"I play the role of a pretty boy intern within the production," he started. "There are two reasons I thought of for why I should take part in this drama." As curiosity was sufficiently raised, he continued, "The first reason was the amazing senior actors and director. I felt the most charm from being able to film with them.
"The other reason is my mother. My mother's wish was for me to become a doctor, but somehow, I was unable to become a doctor. To resolve her disappointment, I chose to be in 'D-Day,' which will allow me to act [the part of] a doctor," making everyone burst into laughter.
