As ironic as that may sound, just as actress Kim So Hyun will be playing a high school student in the upcoming drama 'School 2015', in real life, she will not be putting on a uniform to go to school. Instead, she has opted to be homeschooled for her high school years.
She revealed the news at the press conference for KBS' 'School 2015' by saying, "I've decided to be homeschooled. I came to this decision because if I attended high school, I wouldn't be able to attend school properly because of filming, and wouldn't be able to study properly, and may cause harm to my friends."
She added, "I'm planning to study hard by planning out my time in a productive manner. I am planning to get my high school diploma through homeschooling."
For reference, In Korea, the school year typically begins at the start of March from grade 10 to 12. As Kim So Hyun is 17 years old in Korean age, if she chose to attend high school, she would have started last month.
