On the February 27th broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'Sunny's FM Date', F.T. Island's Hongki made a short but sweet appearance as actress Baek Jin Hee's close friend. 

Hongki said playfully over the phone, "Baek Jin Hee said that she was going to be on 'Sunny's FM Date' since yesterday, so I made a call. We met through the movie 'Rockin' On Heaven's Door'. And from what I know, Baek Jin Hee is not a talker, but I hope for the best."

The idol continued, "Her first impression was that she seemed like a cold person. As time went on, [I realized that] she wasn't cold at all and was really easygoing. We met up for drinks a couple of times, and she would have aegyo when she gets drunk. I think that for the sake of the radio, she should have a couple of drinks."

The actress then expressed her gratitude for Hongki's friendship despite the fact that they weren't able to meet face-to-face. She said, "After 'Rockin' On Heaven's Door', we kept in contact with each other, but we weren't able to meet face-to-face. And when I was filming for 'Pride and Prejudice', I really wanted the banana bread that you can buy in Japan, so I asked Hongki and he sent a lot of it over to the set. Later, I found out that he carried the whole thing by himself without his manager because the schedule got mixed up." 

Baek Jin Hee then went on to promote Hongki and said, "F.T. Island's album is releasing in April, please give it lots of love." 

Meanwhile, Hongki and Baek Jin Hee displayed their close relationship back on a 2013 airing of 'Radio Star' and were seen complimenting each other despite their moments of bickering. However, when she was asked to pick between Yonghwa and Hongki, the actress chose Yonghwa, causing the studio to burst out into laughter.
