Some of the most prestigious actors in South Korea gathered at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on December 17 for the '35th Blue Dragon Film Awards' of 2014! Two of the notable winners of this splendid night were young stars, Yoochun and Kim Sae Ron, awarded as the best rookies of the year.
Upon receiving his award, Yoochun said, "I am bewildered to receive an award like this just as the ceremony begins. My family is here--thank you. I sincerely thank you. While filming a movie for the first time, I learned that a lot of people endured difficulty filming and I learned a lot of things. I thank you so much for giving me a good award for my first movie and will act with more diligence."
Other notable nominees he had beaten out were Kim Woo Bin, Siwan, and Choi Jin Hyuk.

As for the female portion, Kim Sae Ron beat out Kim Yoo Jung, Yi Som, and more for her performance in 'A Girl at My Door (Dohee-ya).'
She said, "I'd like to give thanks to Director Lee Chang Dong, Director Jung Joo Ri, Bae Doo Na, and Song Sae Byuk for helping me win this award. In the future, I will work harder for more good results."
