SM Entertainment to take legal action against malicious rumors about Hyoyeon

After it was discovered that Hyoyeon was reported for assault, SM Entertainment stepped in to assure everybody that she hit her friend accidentally and nothing more. However, it appears that this issue has yet to die down as SM Entertainment now revealed their plans to pursue legal action regarding the malicious rumors about Hyoyeon.

SM Entertainment said on April 2, "We plan on firmly handling this situation by beginning the procedure and examination for legal action against people publishing or writing baseless rumors about Hyoyeon. �Once again, we request that the people erase the relevant posts via comment sections, personal SNS accounts, blogs, and more."
