TS Entertainment warns of imposter Facebook accounts posing as SECRET's Hyosung

SECRET's agency TS Entertainment left a cautionary message letting fans know that Hyosung does not use Facebook.


The agency wrote on March 12 via Twitter, "We've discovered Facebook account(s) posing as Hyosung.  Hyosung does not use Facebook.  We hope that no one falls victim to the imposter account(s)."

Hyosung, meanwhile, is using Instagram and Twitter if you still want updates on her life!

When will netizens ever learn? I know those who fall for it are desperate to show their love and in return hope to receive some attention from their idols, but seriously? You do not simply add someone without confirmation of their real identity because really, you are just exposing all your photos and information to some creep out there.

There are hundreds if not thousands of fake accounts of every celebrity alive... kpop companies need to calm down

They gotta realize there are tons of fakes and then there are roleplayers as well. Companies should know this by now.

ah people falling for roll play accounts is nothing new, if they did some research then they could discover for themselves that the accounts are not real :)

Lol roleplayers. I've seen many of my friends fall for them. Spazz at them too. Its so weird.

Roleplayers .... Not that I have anything against them, but I honestly think TS Ent., & many other agencies that have spoken about this, is seeing Roleplayers

@mcarpes Actually, a lot of Koreans use facebook; I think what you mean is why most kpop stars don't use facebook. There can be a whole bunch of factors, but I don't know exactly why kpop stars generally prefer not to use facebook.

It is much easier to breach facebook security, is more than likely the main reason. A lot of Koreans, including myself and my friends use facebook frequently, idols— not so much. Especially since facebook is a new trend in Korea and hasn't died down like it has overseas.
