ZE:A under suspicion of falsely earning school credits + Star Empire releases official statement

ZE:A
Well it's a rough morning for the boys of ZE:A, whohave come under fire with accusationsraising questions about whether they received special treatment from the cyber university they currently endorse, earning school credits for classes they did not even attend.

According to 'News 8', 'The Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea' or the 'BAI' has found that the record indicates that the member(s) achieved 30 school credits by taking 10 or so classes for 3 semesters. However, from what they found, it wasn't the member(s) taking the classes, but rather the professor and assistant professor who took the classes for them.

As this is a cyber university or an online university, classes are held online and the students must click into the lecture for their attendance. However, it's said that the professor and assistant professor were the ones clicking into these lectures for the member(s) of ZE:A.

When the school was contacted in the news segment (which you can watch below), they said they had no knowledge regarding this matter and also mentioned, "It could be some kind of glitch with the system. It doesn't make sense that the professor would click in and take classes for them."The professor is currently unreachable, having cut off contact, while the assistant professor has quit.

The BAI demanded that the boys be given F's for these classes as it is a regulation that a student must attend more than 3/4 of their lectures in order to not fail the class.

With the news segment gaining more and more attention, Star Empire has issued an official statement regarding the matter through a press release, revealing that it was the school who decided to do this, and that the members had nothing to do with the falsification.

"ZE:A has never attended classes using illegal methods. We've already revealed to the BAI two months ago that the members have nothing to do with this. We only learned about this ourselves from the BAI's investigation... Thus, the 2010 grades received have been reissued as F's. It is a shame that the school has done such a thing without the student's permission. We are very sorry for causing concern."

The BAI is currently investigating into more cyber universities under suspicion of exchanging school credits for money or endorsements from celebs.
