'Friend 2', the sequel to the 2001 hit movie 'Friend', opened in theaters on November 14 and secured the top spot at the box office with an impressive 304,211 viewers on opening day! Including the viewers at the VIP premiere, the movie has brought in a total of 312,335 viewers so far.
'Friend 2' landed the record of most viewers of all time on a November premiere date since the Korean Film Commission began these official totals in 2003.

On the same day, 'The Five' came in second place with about 48,000 viewers, and 'Thor: Dark World' came in third with about 45,000 viewers.
