Ailee is coming back home, for a few days at least, as it has been revealed that she is taking steps to make a possible debut in the States!

According to several music insiders, Ailee's scheduled stages for music shows this weekend were suddenly canceled upon securing meetings in the States with a famous producing team. The producing team is said to have received numerous Grammy Awards and worked with big names such as Justin Bieber, Usher, Ne-Yo, and more.

One rep stated, "The producing team, who had interest in K-pop, was looking for a Korean artist to work with, and by chance, came upon a video of Ailee, who is receiving love from her fans who call her 'Korea's Beyonce'. Determining that in addition to outstanding talent, she possess charms that can translate in both the East and West, a meeting was requested."

In regards to these insiders' comments, her agency YMC Entertainment cautiously stated, "It is true that Ailee has concluded her domestic activities. We canceled all of her music show stages and schedules for this week at last minute due to her meeting with a producing team overseas... If this project goes well and everything proceeds as planned, Ailee's advancement into the States will gain speed. We are cautious to say anything with certainty as it is still in the beginning stages."

Would you like to see Ailee make her debut in the States?

I have a good idea of exactly who the team is! They are not "brand new" to working with Asians (or Koreans in fact). If things work out, I hope they can come with something magical and hot. Ailee could fill a niche for them because the majority of the songs in their production catalog are with male artists. They could possibly hook Ailee up with a solid sound outside of her wonderful ballads. In reference to advancement, I think they should target more than just the Americas.

It would be cool if Ailee worked or sang with Beyoncé... even if you don't agree, that's the title she's known by. If she does debut here though, I hope she makes it farther than other Kpop artists have in the US (not hating, but not many have been successful in US debuts). GOOD LUCK!!!  =)

Ailee is on a role!!!

When she debuts in the U.S, I'm sure her fans will continue to listen to her music (like any other fan!)

Don't think she will "stand out" as much as she does in the K-Pop world if she debuts in the U.S though...

Well no matter what, I'm going to keep listening to her songs and loving her BEAUTIFUL voice!!!

Ailee Hwaiting!!!

Why people always bragging being able to speak in English fluently, when she was born here it's not even going to help her she want break the U.S market.

Yeah, I admit she's Beyonce of Korea, but the thing is there's a lot of singers same with her style and a lot better, I mean we don't need that here. The stereotypes for Asian is one of the big factor why she couldn't make it here.

Charice voice is way more better than her, but the thing is Oprah back her up to get in here. There's a lot of Asian-American who have tried already, but the end they failed. Maybe she should focus on penetrating Asia first before entering the U.S!!

Agree. The Political Left control the mainstream media in Western Europe and North America. The Left groups and separates people by race. It's not hate, but it's not equal opportunity either. The Left is comfortable with asians as doctors, lawyers, engineers - and even robotically playing violins in orchestras, or reading the news on TV. Asians are considered to be bookish, unattractive, and non-artistically talented. The Left even throws out examples like Lucy Liu, or Grace Park to prove their point. The Left doesn't like the idea of asians as pro athletes (Jeremy Lin) and certainly not as popular musicians and singers. I hope this barrier will be broken for the sake of asian artists here in the West. It will probably take multiple groups with significant global popularity to do it. Psy made a good dent as a start.

@ramjetranch Even if your claim wasn't all together crazy, you'd mean the political right, not left.

@sorenji The Political Left control mainstream media in the West: Broadcast TV, Movies, Newspapers, Radio, and Music. There are a few exceptions such as Fox, talk radio, and the Washington Times. Think of all the Americans in Kpop, including Ailee. Would they have stood an ice-cubes-chance-in-hell of making it in the U.S.? Open your eyes. You may find that you're on the wrong team.

They should use her Korean debut song "Heaven" of course translated into English. I always felt that song would do well in the states. Whatever she does will be great. Ailee has mad vocals.
