Someone created an impersonation of SECRET's Hyosung's Facebook account and Hyosung came forward to make clear that she doesn't have a Facebook account. She also warned fans against impersonation accounts that have been frequently popping up lately.
Hyosung gave a strong message on her Twitter, "Hyosung, Ji Eun, and Sunhwa don't have Facebook accounts. Please don't be fooled by these impersonations~ I don't even know how to use Kakao Story. Please stop the impersonations."
The impersonation of celebrities' accounts have become a growing problem, especially with the frequent use of social media by celebrities to interact with fans.
Netizens commented, "What is going on in the brains of people who make fake Facebook accounts", "Don't be too mad. Just think of it happening because you're popular", and "So it was an impersonated Facebook! I went on it yesterday..."
Meanwhile, the real SECRET members are saying "YooHoo" to fans with their 4th mini-album 'Letter from SECRET'.
