Sun Woo Jae Duk reveals his son received a love call from SM Entertainment on 'Radio Star'
On the May 2nd episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', Actor Sun Woo Jae Duk revealed that his eldest son received a love call from SM Entertainment.
Sun Woo Jae Duk shared, "Hoon once appeared on 'Star Junior Show' and he didn't get to talk much because of his introverted personality. But after he left the program, we received a lot of love calls for CFs."
Sun Woo Jae Duk further went on to reveal, "My eldest son also received an offer to be a singer from SM Entertainment", which left all the MCs curious about whether he had accepted the offer. However, the actor revealed that he had turned down SM's offer.
Kyuhyun, who is under SM Entertainment, jokingly commented, "But, he could've turned out like me". The other MCs then poked fun, stating, "Maybe he didn't want his son to turn out like you", bringing laughter on the set. However, Sun Woo Jae Duk explained, "Being a celebrity is a difficult job. I want him to try other things first and if he really wants to be a celebrity later on, we'll consider it. But right now, I don't think he has shown any interest in becoming one."
Other guests on this episode were Sun Woo Jae Duk's castmates Kim Eung Soo and Jung Eun Pyo from the popular MBC drama, 'The Moon that Embraces the Sun'.
