Top actor, Jung Woo Sung officially apologized for misspelling Kimchi as Kimuchi. He was a guest on the August 6th episode of a program called Tunnels Kuwazugirai on FujiTV in Japan. Tunnels Kuwazugirai is supposedly a food eating game, where your opponent tries to guess which food you don't like, after you eat all the different types. It is setup so that one of the foods is one you absolutely hate, and you're supposed to try to trick the opponent, vice versa. On the program, Jung Woo Sung accidentally wrote "Kimuchi" as an answer instead of "Kimchi". At first, Jung Woo Sung's agency said, "He did not write that himself," however Jung Woo Sung confessed and apologized publicly about his mistake. The reason for the apology was that some fans were angered over the thought that the program misspelled "kimchi" as "kimuchi" on purpose as Jung Woo Sung agency originally denied that he wrote it. The reason for the anger is because Japan tried to have Kimuchi as the official spelling of Kimchi in English and made their own version and there have been some disputes over this. However, he just wanted to clear the air that he was the one that wrote it and not to get angry at the program. This is Jung Woo Sung's apology. How are you? This is Jung Woo Sung. "First of all, I indeed wrote that answer myself. On my way to Korea, I heard from my head manager that I made a mistake on a program on FujiTV. I could not remember due to my overwhelming promotion schedule, therefore, I had to check the Korean news first before saying anything about my embarrassing and serious mistake. I have no excuse, but I made the mistake of copying the answer down exactly as it was written and provided by the program. Also, my manager made the mistake of trying to protect me by saying that I did not write that myself, and I would like to apologize about that. Also, I would like to apologize to FujiTV for the malicious rumors of "false broadcasting". The program has been loved by the viewers for more than 10 years and it is a very honest, truthful program. Everything happened because of my mistake, therefore I will receive any criticism and I would like to say that the program had nothing to do with my mistake. Everything was my fault, and so of course I should receive all the scoldings from you all. On the other hand, I would like to thank my fans who understand and forgave me. I am very ashamed and embarrassed. Again, I would like to apologize for my carelessness and mistake. Hahaha I personally think it was a cute little mistake!
