On the October 30th episode of SBS' 'Strong Heart', A Pink's Eunji featured as a guest and revealed how she received an angry phone call from her CEO and dad following her kiss scene with co-star Seo In Guk in the hit drama 'Reply 1997'.
Eunji shared, "First off, people around me were surprised by the kind of role I was given. I am a girl group member, I just turned 20 years old, and [it was unusual for me] to play a 33-year-old mature character. To put it simply, people around me were flabbergasted, especially by my kiss scene with Seo In Guk."
She continued, "After watching that scene, my dad called in from abroad. He doesn't usually make international calls, but he called and said, 'What are you doing on the stairwell without my permission?' and expressed his anger. I think he was shocked to see his daughter doing that in public. So I explained to him that she is 'Sung Shi Won' and I am Jung Eunji, but he replied, 'Either way, that's your face'."
