We previously reported that MBLAQ's agency J.Tune Camp is getting ready to debut a new artist 'TWO X', and now, more information about the new act has been revealed!
Although some had speculated that 'TWO X' would be a duo, it turns out the upcoming act is a 5-member girl group made up of Jiyoo, Minjoo, Eun, Soorin, and Eunyoung who have been thoroughly preparing over the past few years.
Their group name 'TWO-X' stands for Top (T), Win(W), One(O), and 'X' signifying 'multiply', and the girls are more than determined to show their best to the public.
Leader and main vocalist Jiyoo has already featured on Rain's "You" off his fifth album "Rainism", and also sang OST track "Mayday" for KBS 2TV's 'Fugitive PlanB', which Rain also starred in. Member Eunyoung, the rapper of the group, has already gained popularity working as a back dancer for Rain, Big Bang, and 2NE1.
The ladies' new album has been put together by producers like Duble Sidekick (Double Sidekick) and Ichiro Suezawa, who has worked with stars like Bruno Mars.
TWO X will be holding a debut stage on Mnet's M!Coundown August 16th!
