2NE1 successfully carried out their 'NEW EVOLUTION' tour in Los Angeles on August 24th at the Nokia Theatre. 2NE1 became the first musicians from Asia to have tickets completely sold out at the venue and they were presented with an award.
On August 25th, Dara posted on her me2day, "Finished with the concert in Los Angeles! Surprise visit by Will.I.Am and apl.de.ap! Their amazing freestyle rap! Thank you so much everyone. This is a gift by the staff members of Nokia Theatre. It's a gift presented to artists who sold out all the tickets and apparently we were the first from Asia! It's all thanks to our fans! I'm so happy right now."
Along with the post, a picture of Dara holding up the plaque given by Nokia Theatre was included as well.
In related news, Black Eyed Peas members Will.I.Am and apl.de.ap surprised the audience by making an appearance on stage.
