It has been revealed that T-ara's Soyeon has been cast in the drama, 'Haeundae Lovers'.
After acting in the musical 'Roly Poly' and making a special cameo in SBS's 'Giant', Soyeon will be making her first official drama debut with 'Haeundae Lovers'.
Soyeon has been cast as the playful and charming character, Lee Kwan Soon, a close dongseng of Jo Yeo Jeong's character. 'Haeundae Lovers' has made headlines previously with the confirmation of Jo Yeo Jeong, Kim Kang Woo, Jeong Suk Won, and Nam Gyuri.
Soyeon revealed, "I am learning diligently and listening to advice from Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon, who have experience acting. In order to not bring shame to Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon, I will work hard during the filming."
'Haeundae Lovers' will air with the conclusion of KBS's 'Big' on August 13th and is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a prosecutor who loses his memory and falls in love with a gangster's daughter. Writer Hwang Eun Kyung, ('City Hunter' and 'Daemul'), and PD Song Hyun Wook will be working together on the drama.
