Chinese singer Wei Chen will be performing on this week's episode of Mnet's 'M! Countdown' with a collaborative track featuring MBLAQ's Lee Joon and Thunder!
The collaboration will be released online on August 25th, and is said to be a combination of acoustic and electric guitar sounds. Layered with rhythmical vocals and rapping, it all comes together for an exciting R&B style track. The song will be included in Wei Chen's Chinese album next month.
Co-produced by CJ E&M, EE-Media, and M Plus Entertainment, representatives revealed, "Wei Chen is extremely glad to be able to work with the best idols of Korea, MBLAQ. We hope that through this project, there will be more opportunities for Korea and China to share their cultures together."
Representatives of MBLAQ added, "It's an honor to be able to participate in Wei Chen's album. We hope that it receives a lot of love in China. We were actually surprised with how great his Korean pronunciation was, so we hope to see him often on Korean stages."
