Lee Hyori's former composer Bahnus ordered to pay Mnet $255,000 for plagiarized material

Composer Bahnus has been ordered to compensate for the damages caused by his plagiarized songs. The Seoul Central District Court has sentenced Bahnus to pay approximately $255,000 USD (270,000,000 Korean WON) to Hyori's former management company, Mnet Media. Mnet Media was in the process of demanding compensation at the Seoul Central District Court against Bahnus. Mnet Media received 6 songs, including "I'm Back", for a fee of $25,600 USD from Bahnus, but it was revealed that all 6 of the songs were plagiarized. Because of this issue, Hyori stopped promotions for her 4th album after a short period of 2 months. Source: Sports Chosun via Nate
