Back in May, there were reports stating that BIGBANG would perform at Summer Sonic 2010. Famous Korean band FT Island also performed at this extravagant event.
This event was held on August 7th and August 8th at the Maishima Summer Sonic Osaka Tokusetsu Kaijyou in Osaka and Chiba Marine Stadium in Tokyo. More than 25,000 fans gathered to see the artists and some of the headlining acts included: Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Nickelback, Nas, The Offspring, A Tribe Called Quest, Taylor Swift, The Smashing Pumpkins and Jason Derulo. Some notable J-pop artists who performed include Tsuchiya Anna, Yazawa Eikichi and Sakanakushon.
