BoA wasn't the only Korean star winning awards at the first Billboard Japan Music Awards. Sexy group After School also made their way to Japan and attended the Billboard Japan Music Awards to win the K-Pop New Artist of the Year 2009. The girls also performed their hit song Because of You and also performed Diva for the first time as a 7 member group. Congratulations to After School, I wouldn't be surprised if they try to take on the Japan market in the near future as their popularity is growing there.
