MBC has launched the highlight teaser for its upcoming new body-switch historical romantic comedy, 'Moon River'.
The highlight teaser begins with an introduction of crown prince Yi Kang (played by Kang Tae Oh), who is heartbroken after the alleged suicide of his wife. In order to solve the mystery of his wife's death and exact revenge, Yi Kang leaves the royal palace and infiltrates the streets of Joseon. There, he meets a woman who looks exactly like his deceased wife, named Park Dal (played by Kim Se Jeong).
A money-hungry merchant from the countryside, Park Dal's personality is nothing like the deceased princess-consort. Still, Yi Kang quickly grows attached to her, and the prince's enemies take advantage of this to execute an assassination.
While fleeing from their assailants, Yi Kang and Park Dal approach the brink of death, only to wake up the next morning together in bed. They then realize that their souls and bodies have been switched, with Yi Kang's soul inhabiting Park Dal's body and Dal's soul inhabiting Kang's.
Also starring Jin Goo, Lee Shin Young, Hong Soo Joo, and more, MBC's 'Moon River' premieres next week on November 7 at 9:50 PM KST.
