Ailee opened up about the start of her romance with fiance Choi Si Hoon, who's known as a contestant on season 1 of 'Single's Inferno'.
On the October 11th episode of JohnMaat YouTube channels 'BYOB' with hosts Brian and Joon, Ailee discussed her relationship with her fiance, who she went public with in May of 2024. When asked how they first met, Ailee revealed, "We met through a friend... We weren't even interested in each other at the time. We were just hanging out. The more I talked to him and got to know him better, I realized what a good person he is. As we got to talking, we both kind of realized at the same time. 'Oh, I think I'm going to marry him.' And he knew."
She further revealed they both felt they would get married even before officially dating, saying, "He felt the same way too. He was like, 'Oh, I think I'm going to get married to this girl." Ailee said of their relationship, "He's very supportive, and he babies me. I'm like, 35 being babied. It feels really good!"
