aespa unveils 'Regret of the Times (2024 Remake Ver.)' MV, adding unique flair

aespa has unveiled a music video for Seo Taiji's 'Regret of the Times', infusing the original song with their distinctive style. 

The track, originally released by Seo Taiji and Boys in 1996, is an alternative rock genre piece with direct and powerful messaging.

In their rendition, aespa has added a fresh twist to the song with a surprising structure and powerful vocals that bring pleasure to the listeners. Karina and rapper BewhY participated in the rap making, enhancing the song's quality.

This release is part of the 'SM Remastering Project,' a collaborative venture between SM Entertainment and YouTube.

Whenever the Big4 release their financial statements, SM usually boasts enormous revenues but then has a significantly lower net profit. I would assume the label sustains very high costs because of all the content they produce with Station, their numerous groups and solo acts, and just random projects on the spot. In sum, their music releases don’t always hit and their business practices may not be pristine, but I do respect the company’s devotion to creating quantity—and quality—art.
