Kevin Oh is the latest celebrity to release a 'My Essentials' video for GQ Korea.

On November 19 KST, the Korean edition of the popular men's lifestyle magazine released the video through their official YouTube channel. In the video, the singer/songwriter shares the contents of his upcycled Jansport backpack with viewers, sharing stories about the must-have items inside like Haribo gummy bears, lip balm, and a bottle of Tom Ford cologne.

He begins the video by introducing his backpack, from his wife and actress Gong Hyo Jin's former brand Super Magic Factory, to the camera, displaying its unique design. "Super Magic Factory is my wife's old upcycling company," he began. "When I was in school, I always brought around a Jansport. There's a whole lot of things in it, and it's really sturdy. And it's one-of-a-kind. It's a little bit like an art piece, right? I think about how well it would sell if I decided to resell it on [resale mobile application] Dangeun Market later on."

His wife's name came up again later on in the video when he pulled out a Moleskine-style notebook with his signature stamped into the cover. During this portion of the video, he explains that he carries it around to write his lyrics like its his very own 'portable workshop.'

When the staff asks him if the album has any lyrics in it for his new album, he revealed that one of the songs in the book are actually lyrics written by Gong Hyo Jin herself, playing a portion of it off of his phone while adding, "I like the chorus the best. [...] I think these lyrics are really great. 'For a long time / shall you be me / and shall I be you?' Even while being simple, it's a phrase with a lot of emotion." He also brought up another lyric he enjoyed: 'The dawn / when you and I are sleeping.'

Meanwhile, the song, titled "Dawn," was revealed as a pre-release single for his full-length album 'Pieces of _' on November 12. The full album also dropped on November 15.
