May Myat Noe's allegation that she was forced to provide sexual services turns out to be true

Buzz
It has recently been revealed that 16-year-old May Myat Noe's claim that she was forced to act as an escort to rich Korean businessmen was true.

Back in May, Noe won the 'Miss Asia Pacific' beauty pageant while representing her country, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. She came to South Korea in August when a talent agency offered to help her produce a music album. Noe claimed that the head of the agency Choi (48) demanded that she entertain rich businessmen to raise funds for her training.

Noe refused to comply, and perhaps due to a misunderstanding, the Miss Asia Pacific World Organization (MAPWO) stripped her of the 'Miss Asia Pacific' title, thinking she was being uncooperative for no reason. MAPWO has also stated that they took this action because Noe had lied about her age and refused to follow MAPWO's instructions regarding other things.

Noe took her Miss Asia Pacific tiara worth $100,000 and flew back home. She held a press conference in September saying that she was forced to escort businessmen. She had also stated that she did not receive money for the commercials she filmed and was forced to have plastic surgery. MAPWO in return filed criminal charges against Noe, saying Noe was lying and defaming their name.

Recently, the head of Noe's talent agency Choi confessed to MAPWO that he had indeed forced Noe to offer sexual services to businessmen. MAPWO has reported Choi for this, and in order to prevent further cases, MAPWO also reported Choi for signing contracts with other pageant participants.

Whether Noe's other allegations are true and whether MAPWO will continue to press charges against Noe have yet to be confirmed.
