Singer Youngtak and Lovelyz member-turned-broadcaster Lee Mi Joo are set to join 'Naked History' as new cast members.
According to Star News on February 6, Youngtak and Lee Mi Joo participated in a recording of the tvN variety program 'Naked History' late last month. They are stepping in as replacements for Super Junior member and broadcaster Kyuhyun and former announcer Lee Hye Seong. Episodes featuring Youngtak and Lee Mi Joo will begin airing on February 23. With both having built reputations as versatile entertainers, attention is focused on the chemistry they will bring to the show.
'Naked History' is a program that virtually travels around the world, exploring famous landmarks in different countries while uncovering lesser-known historical stories from multiple perspectives. Since launching Season 1 in December 2020, the show has continued through Seasons 2 and 3 over the past five years.

Kyuhyun joined the program in June 2021, starting from Season 2 as the successor to singer John Park, and remained with the show for approximately four years and eight months. Lee Hye Seong, meanwhile, had been part of the program since Season 1 and is considered a founding member.
On January 6, she announced her departure via Instagram, writing, “I’ve finished my final recording. After being together through Seasons 1, 2, and 3, five years had passed before I knew it. Personally, it was a program where I gained a great deal of cultural and educational knowledge. I sincerely thank the professors and production staff who worked with us. Above all, I was truly happy thanks to the viewers who supported us all this time.”
Meanwhile, singer and broadcaster Eun Ji Won, who has appeared alongside Kyuhyun and Lee Hye Seong, will remain on the show. As a long-standing fixture of 'Naked History,' Eun Ji Won is expected to showcase fresh chemistry with Youngtak and Lee Mi Joo.
