
'Single's Inferno' has done it again and proven its status as one of the most popular dating reality series in South Korea, achieving record-breaking results.
Season 5 of Netflix's hit variety show 'Single's Inferno' is generating unprecedented global buzz, captivating viewers worldwide. More than any previous season, the cast’s candid confidence and fearless flirting, paired with constantly shifting love lines and tangled emotions, have driven excitement and dopamine levels to new highs. The arrival of two new contestants, Jo Yi Geon and Lee Ha Eun, along with the intensifying emotional stakes among the singles, further fueled global viewers’ enthusiasm.
According to Netflix’s TOP 10 website on Wednesday (February 4), 'Single’s Inferno Season 5' recorded 3.9 million views (calculated by dividing total watch time by the show’s total runtime, covering January 26 to February 1) and 37.3 million hours watched. The series maintained its stronghold at No. 2 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV chart. It also ranked No. 1 in regions including South Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore, while landing in the Top 10 across 26 countries such as Taiwan, Brazil, Japan, and Morocco—further cementing its worldwide popularity.

The confidence expressed by the show’s five MCs - Hong Jin Kyung, Lee Da Hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex - who unanimously dubbed it a “record-breaking season,” has been validated by these results. Producers Kim Jae Won, Kim Jung Hyun, and Park Soo Ji shared their gratitude, saying, “Even in our fifth season, it feels like a miracle that so many fans continue to support us.” They added, “We will listen even more closely to our viewers and strive to create even better content.”
Episodes 11 and 12 of Single’s Inferno Season 5, featuring the singles’ final choices, will be available exclusively on Netflix on February 10.
