Hahm Eun Jung reflected on the harsh dieting methods she endured during her time in the girl group T-ara.
On February 27, a video titled “De-Puffing at a Solo Sauna with ‘What’s in My Bag’” was uploaded to Hahm Eun Jung’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Hahm Eun Jung visited a solo sauna in Gwangmyeong. She explained, “Lately, I haven’t been sleeping well and feel tired, so my body has been quite puffy. I came to the sauna to take care of my body.”
Choosing a private room, she said, “I wanted to enjoy it cozily by myself.” Wearing a sauna hat, she quickly warmed up as hot water poured in, commenting with satisfaction, “My hands and feet are getting warm.”
She also shared how she became fond of saunas. “The day before my wedding, I had a busy shoot and was exhausted, but after using the hotel sauna, all the puffiness went away. I was really happy with how my face looked that day,” she said. She added, “I didn’t like jjimjilbangs or saunas before, but now I enjoy them. My body tends to get cold, so saunas suit me well.”
Hahm Eun Jung also spoke about dieting during her idol days. “As an idol, I drastically reduced the amount I ate. Sometimes, two people would share just one bowl of bibimbap,” she revealed. She emphasized, “Now, I focus on eating well, sleeping well, and resting. I believe that the body needs to function properly for weight loss to work.”
The actress also showcased items inside her luxury handbag, including low-sugar snacks, honey, lip balm, perfume, and massage tools, laughing, “I always carry them like a traveling merchant.” She personally used the massage tools to care for her jawline and forehead, explaining, “When time is tight, circulation is the most important.”
Although the sauna’s internal temperature rose to around 80°C, Hahm Eun Jung said, “By the end, I was sweating profusely. I feel my complexion has improved,” expressing satisfaction. After finishing, she commented, “I really healed today. I’ll go back to filming with renewed energy.”
Meanwhile, former T-ara member and actress Hahm Eun Jung married film director Kim Byung Woo, who is eight years her senior, in November 2025.
