Attrakt proceeded with a private third hearing in its 13 billion KRW (approx. $9.6 million USD) damages lawsuit against the former members of FIFTY FIFTY on February 6, 2026. The legal proceedings at the Seoul Central District Court target former members Saena, Aran, and Sio, along with The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il and Director Baek Jin Sil. The court opted to conduct the session behind closed doors, excluding the public from the hearing regarding allegations of contract tampering and the unauthorized abandonment of the group. Attrakt originally launched FIFTY FIFTY in November 2022 as a quartet including Keena. Despite the group's rapid ascent on the Billboard charts, the original lineup fractured in June 2023 when the members filed for an injunction to suspend their contracts, a claim that was ultimately rejected by the court in favor of the agency.
Keena eventually returned to Attrakt and has since continued her career within a reorganized FIFTY FIFTY alongside new members Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana, and Athena. Conversely, Saena, Aran, and Sio signed with Massive E&C, a subsidiary of IOK Company, in August 2024 and redebuted as the group ablume under the production of Ahn Sung Il. The current $9.6 million lawsuit is a central component of Attrakt’s broader legal strategy against those they claim conspired to obstruct the agency's business and breach service obligations. This follows a January 15 ruling where the court ordered The Givers and Ahn Sung Il to pay 499.5 million KRW (approx. $370,000 USD) in a related case, a verdict currently under appeal by both sides. Additionally, the agency is pursuing a separate 20 billion KRW (approx. $14.8 million USD) lawsuit against Warner Music Korea and Clayton Jin.
