BLACKPINK bagged another streaming milestone on Spotify with their 2019 single.
On January 2 KST, the global girl group’s hit song “Kill This Love” exceeded 1 billion streams on the platform.
Released on April 5, 2019, as the title track of their second mini-album of the same name, “Kill This Love” reached the milestone 6 years and 8 months later.
The song marks BLACKPINK’s second song to surpass the 1 billion stream mark, after “How You Like That.” Their 2022 track “Pink Venom” is next to hit the milestone, currently at 960 million plays.
Meanwhile, the four-member group is reportedly making their highly-anticipated comeback early this year. The girls will then conclude their ‘DEADLINE’ tour in Tokyo and Hong Kong on January 16, 18, 25, and 26, respectively.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
