SHINee member and solo artist Taemin has successfully wrapped up his Japan arena tour, delivering a powerful finale that reaffirmed his status as a top-tier performer.

Taemin held the final shows of “2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR ‘Veil’” on December 24 and 25 at GLION ARENA KOBE in Hyogo Prefecture, bringing to a close a four-month-long arena tour. The tour marked his first solo arena tour in Japan in approximately five years, drawing significant attention even before its launch.

Under the title 'Veil', the concert explored a world that blurs the boundaries between good and evil, brought to life through Taemin’s unparalleled performance skills and meticulously crafted production. Touring five regions—Kanagawa, Saga, Shizuoka, Chiba, and Hyogo—Taemin once again left a strong impression with his commanding presence across Japan.

The show opened with a dramatic entrance as Taemin appeared suspended from a cross-shaped structure, immediately captivating the audience with “Heaven.” He went on to perform the tour’s title track “Veil,” along with intense stages such as “Bones,” “Advice + IDEA,” and “Shadow,” heightening the energy in the arena. Dark and conceptual performances of “Guess Who” and “Criminal” further immersed fans in the concert’s narrative.

The atmosphere then shifted as Taemin showcased his fluid choreography and refined vocals through songs like “Exclusive,” “Door,” and “Flame of Love.” Performances of Japanese releases including “Into the Rhythm,” “Tease,” and “Famous” pushed the excitement to new heights, with fans responding in standing ovations. When “Mars,” a song especially beloved by Japanese fans, filled the arena, Taemin moved across the stage, making eye contact and connecting closely with the audience, creating an emotional highlight.

Answering enthusiastic encore requests, Taemin returned to the stage to perform “Move” and “Holy Water,” leaving a lasting impression. He shared his closing remarks, saying, “I was happy to share the ‘Veil’ concert with you. Thanks to the love you give me, I believe I can keep moving forward. Please wait for me until we meet again.” He then ended the night with “FINALE,” putting a beautiful end to the tour.

The arena tour once again demonstrated Taemin’s strong influence in Japan. Notably, his Saga concert drew attention as part of a local government project, featuring city-wide promotions such as posters at major stations, special food maps for fans, and even a Taemin-wrapped bus—an unprecedented level of support for a K-pop solo artist. Additionally, the tour marked the first time Taemin incorporated a live band into his solo concerts, enhancing the overall musical depth and live experience.

After closing the year with a successful arena tour, Taemin is set to carry this momentum to the United States. Ahead of his appearance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, he will hold a solo concert in Las Vegas on January 16 and appear at the GRAMMY Museum’s “Global Spin Live” on January 20, further accelerating his global activities.
