Actors Ahn Bo Hyun and Jung Eun Chae are joining forces to launch a new crime-solving operation in the upcoming second season of 'Flex X Cop.'
On December 3, SBS stated, “'Flex X Cop' is returning for Season 2,” adding that “director Kim Jae Hong and writer Kim Ba Da have reunited for the project, and Ahn Bo Hyun and Jung Eun Chae have been cast in the lead roles.”
Flex X Cop 2 is the sequel to 'Flex X Cop,' which concluded in March of last year. The story begins as a third-generation chaebol who inadvertently became a detective returns to Major Crimes Unit Team 1 after completing police academy training.
Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his role as Jin I Su. He plays a spoiled chaebol heir and parachute detective who uses his family’s immense wealth to bring criminals to justice.
Jung Eun Chae joins as his new partner. She takes on the role of Ju Hye Ra, the head of Major Crimes Unit Team 1 and Jin I Su’s immediate superior. The two have a prior connection through her reputation as his so-called “devil instructor.”
The production team commented, “We are preparing thoroughly to deliver an even more entertaining Season 2” and asked viewers to “look forward to the dynamic investigations of chaebol detective Jin I Su.”
'Flex X Cop 2' is scheduled to premiere next year.
