SBS has officially released the main poster for its upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3,' which is scheduled to premiere on November 21.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, 'Taxi Driver 3' (written by Oh Sang Ho, directed by Kang Bo Seung, produced by Studio S, Group Eight, and BA Entertainment) continues the story of the secretive taxi company “Rainbow Transport” and its driver Kim Do Gi. The drama follows his mission to deliver justice by taking revenge on behalf of victims who cannot fight back on their own.
The 'Taxi Driver' series has already demonstrated its immense popularity. The previous season ranked fifth among all Korean terrestrial and cable dramas since 2023, with viewership peaking at 21 percent. This success firmly established it as a leading example of a well-executed Korean serialized drama, raising expectations for the return of this highly anticipated franchise.
The newly unveiled poster signals the long-awaited comeback of the Rainbow Five, featuring Lee Jae Hoon as Kim Do Gi, Kim Eui Sung as Jang Sung Cheol, Pyo Ye Jin as Ahn Go Eun, Jang Hyuk Jin as Choi Kyung Goo, and Bae Yuram as Park Jin Eon.
At the center of the poster is the iconic Model Taxi 5283, its headlights shining brightly as it waits for dispatch inside an underground elevator. The scene conveys both excitement and nostalgia, marking the team’s return to action after two years.
Inside the brightly lit hideout, the five members are shown fully prepared for departure. Their strong presence and unity highlight their role as steadfast heroes in a world still in need of justice. The dark yet powerful atmosphere created by the “Rainbow Five” amplifies anticipation for their new missions in the third season.
'Taxi Driver 3' is expected to deliver even more sophisticated character development, stronger teamwork, and an expanded universe with enhanced visuals and production quality. The series will also portray relatable client stories and more ruthless villains, making the Rainbow Transport team’s revenge-for-hire service even more thrilling.
Selected as a 2025 production supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Agency (KCA), 'Taxi Driver 3' will premiere on Friday, November 21, at 9:50 PM (KST) on SBS.
