The hit series 'Taxi Driver' has returned for its third season, bringing back its justice-driven revenge service. The story has grown more intense, and the action scenes are stronger than ever.
The cast members who have been with the show since season 1 are reuniting, including Lee Jae Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yu Ram. Having worked together for five years, they promise to showcase solid teamwork.
The actors have fully immersed themselves in their characters. Lee Jae Hoon expressed anticipation, saying, “I hope viewers can feel how much passion and love I’ve poured into this work.”
On November 18, SBS-TV held a press conference for 'Taxi Driver 3' at SBS in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Lee Jae Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yu Ram, and director Kang Bo Seung were in attendance.
'Taxi Driver 3' marks the final chapter of the series. It follows the daring revenge schemes of Kim Do Gi, a taxi driver from the transport company Rainbow Taxi Company, as he fights on behalf of victims who have been wronged.

Lee Jae Hoon reprises his role as Kim Do Gi, the mastermind behind the revenge plots. With exceptional physical skills and innate intuition, Do Gi navigates multiple dangerous situations.
He also employs elaborate disguises when solving cases. Lee Jae Hoon revealed, “I spent a lot of time thinking about how to present different sub-personas from previous seasons.” He added, “From the start, I wanted to show a strong presence. In episodes 1 and 2, you’ll see the adventurous side of Do Gi, while episodes 3 and 4 reveal a more vulnerable side.”
One highlight this season is the upgraded car action. “The taxi’s performance has improved. We chase villains at full throttle,” he explained.

Pyo Ye Jin plays An Go Eun, a genius hacker who is crucial in executing perfect revenge plans. Though she grew up in difficult circumstances, she has matured and thrives at Rainbow Taxi Company.
This season, her character appears with a blunt bob haircut. Pyo Ye Jin said, “I wanted to show Go Eun’s growth. I emphasized her newfound professionalism with an external change.”
Kim Eui Sung plays Jang Sung Cheol, the CEO of Rainbow Taxi Company and chairman of the Blue Bird Support Center, which assists crime victims. He is compassionate and righteous.

Known for excelling in villain roles, Kim Eui Sung has kept viewers suspicious of his true intentions since season 1. “I’ve mostly shown a warm side in the story, which is frustrating,” he said, adding, “Keep questioning, and something will surely unfold,” teasing viewers’ curiosity.
The 'Taxi Driver' series has long tackled society’s darker corners. Season 3 delves even deeper into the shadows of our world.
Director Kang noted, “We’ve added a mole-catching arcade game in the Rainbow Transport office. No matter what you hit the mole with, it keeps coming back.” He emphasized, “You have to control the inside of the game to stop it. Similarly, this season focuses on more fundamental stories rather than just current events.”
Lee Jae Hoon hinted at the emotional impact for viewers: “The drama airs on Fridays and Saturdays. Fridays may make you think, ‘How can such things happen in the world?’ but by Saturday, everything will feel resolved.”
Do Gi’s personal story will also be revealed. Lee explained, “He hides his pain, and through his work, he finds healing for the exhaustion and difficulties he has endured.”
Pyo Ye Jin reflected on the journey: “It’s amazing we’ve reached season 3. I hope viewers watch live and satisfyingly release stress.”
Director Kang left open the possibility of a sequel. “The final chapter could mean it’s the last of the trilogy, or it could mean we approached it with the intensity of it being the final season,” he said. “At some point, the number ‘3’ might disappear, so focus on the essence of the story rather than the season number.”
Lee Jae Hoon added, “I hope we bring home many trophies at the year-end awards. All the actors delivered incredible and lovable performances, so please look forward to it.”
'Taxi Driver 3' premieres on November 21 at 9:50 PM KST on SBS.
