SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi is surprising fans with a brand-new solo release.
On November 11 at 6 p.m. (KST), Pledis Entertainment will unveil Hoshi’s new digital single “Fallen Superstar” along with its official music video — marking about two months since his previous solo track, “TAKE A SHOT.”
“Fallen Superstar” tells the story of two wounded souls finding warmth within each other’s emptiness. The song contrasts up-tempo drums with melancholic guitar melodies, and Hoshi’s emotive, delicate vocals complete its passionate, lyrical beauty.
The track brings together an international team of hitmakers, including Andrew Goldstein, who has worked with Maroon 5 and Katy Perry, and JXDN, a singer-songwriter nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. Through this single, Hoshi makes his first-ever English solo debut, expanding his connection with global fans.
The music video visually embodies the coexistence of fall and love, aligning with the song’s title. In the teaser released at midnight, shattered guitars and scenes of Hoshi falling in reverse motion draw attention, while the engraved line “You’re just a Fallen Superstar” offers a glimpse into the song’s message, heightening anticipation for the full release.
Beyond SEVENTEEN’s group and unit activities, Hoshi continues to flourish as a solo artist, showcasing his versatility through songs like “Damage (feat. Timbaland),” “I Want You Back,” and “STAY.” His September release “TAKE A SHOT” entered the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart, earning enthusiastic praise from fans around the world.
