'K-Pop Demon Hunters’ is set to appear at the upcoming 2025 MAMA Awards.
On November 11, the 2025 MAMA Awards Press Premiere was held at the CJ ENM Center Talent Studio.
The MAMA Awards first began in 1999 as the Mnet Music Video Festival, later rebranding in 2009 as the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Korea’s first Asian music awards ceremony. Reflecting Kpop’s expanding global influence, the show rebranded again in 2022 to the MAMA Awards, aligning with the global music market.
This year’s concept is 'UH HEUNG', combining Korean style excitement and energy. Actors Park Bo Gum and Kim Hye Soo will serve as hosts.
During the press event, producing director Ma Du Sik announced an official collaboration between K-Pop Demon Hunters and the MAMA Awards. “We will blur the lines between animation and reality,” he said, promising to recreate a legendary battle between Saja Boys and Huntrex live on stage, raising anticipation.
Other highlights include a special 20th anniversary stage by Super Junior in Chapter 1, while Chapter 2 will feature Stray Kids premiering a never before performed track from their upcoming release.
