
Girls’ Generation’s Yuri has paid tribute to the late actor Lee Soon Jae.
On November 25th KST, Yuri shared a message on her social media, writing, “I will treasure the profound lessons you have left behind for the rest of my life. I mourn you with deep respect and love,” along with a curtain call video from the play Grandpa Henri and Me, which she performed in with the late actor.
She also posted a photo taken privately with him, adding, “I will forever cherish every moment I was able to share with you. My eternal Grandpa Henri. Please rest peacefully there.”
Yuri previously starred alongside Lee Soon Jae in the play 'Grandpa Henri and Me'. Lee played the stubborn and sharp-tongued Grandpa Henri, while Yuri portrayed Constance, a college student wandering in search of her dreams.
Lee Soon Jae passed away in the early hours of the 25th at the age of 91. His memorial altar has been set up in Room 30 of the Seoul Asan Medical Center funeral hall, and the funeral will be held on the 27th at 6:20 AM. His burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
