Actor Song Joong Ki recently reunited with his Korean fans in a heartfelt and intimate setting.
On October 28 KST, his agency HighZium Studio announced,
“After a long wait, Song Joong Ki met with his fans once again. The fan meeting ‘Stay Happy,’ held on October 25, concluded with enthusiastic cheers and warm support from attendees.”
This special fan meeting was hosted entirely by Song Joong Ki himself, without an MC. From the opening to the finale, he led the event solo, creating a sincere and personal atmosphere. Throughout the show, he freely roamed all corners of the venue, making direct eye contact, conversing with fans, and fostering genuine connections.
In the “Happy Clover” segment, he shared his favorite foods, songs, and works that bring him happiness. The “Ask Joong Ki” corner featured real-time answers to fan-submitted questions via social media, showcasing his honest and playful side and filling the venue with laughter.
Actress Kim Ji Won made a surprise appearance during the second half, showing her support for Song Joong Ki. Their reunion evoked memories of their iconic roles in 'Descendants of the Sun' (as Yoo Si Jin and Yoon Myeong Joo) and 'Arthdal Chronicles' (as Eunseom and Tanya), delighting fans with their strong chemistry and shared history.
The event featured games, surprise segments, and deeply touching moments. During a special stage, Song Joong-ki performed Kwak Jin Eon’s “Name” while an LED screen behind him displayed the names of all the attending fans like stars, symbolizing his deep gratitude.
“You always call out my name and cheer me on — tonight, I wanted to call your names in return,” he said.
In his closing remarks, Song Joong Ki expressed,
“When the doors first opened and I made eye contact with a few of you, I felt nervous — but I’m so grateful for your warm welcome. The theme of today’s meeting was ‘happiness,’ and thanks to all of you, this has been a truly fulfilling moment for me.”
He ended the night with a performance of Kwak Jin Eon’s “Boast”, dedicating it to his fans, officially named Ki Aile, saying,
“You are the ones I always want to boast about, wherever I go.”
Even after the show ended, Song Joong Ki continued to express his appreciation. He personally shook hands with every fan as they left and handed out handwritten postcards, each signed and addressed individually — leaving behind a cherished memory for all who attended.
