INB100, the management company of EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (or EXO-CBX) has issued a follow-up statement on October 30 KST in response to SM Entertainment's statement, released a day earlier.
Previously on October 29 KST, INB100 released a statement to clarify Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin's apparent exclusion from EXO's upcoming group activities in December and 2026. According to INB100, CBX strongly wish to participate in EXO's group activities and planned on making every effort to resolve all legal disputes soon in order to do so.
Then, on the same day, SM Entertainment released a statement of rebuttal, claiming that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have been excluded from EXO's upcoming activity plans due to "damaged trust".
Now, INB100 has stepped up on behalf of CBX with a follow-up statement, found below.
"Below is INB100's response to SM Entertainment's official statement.
SM Statement 1)
SM made just one request of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin in the original agreement composed on June 18, 2023. We requested that the 3 artists pay 10% of the earnings from their individual activities to SM. This request has not yet been fulfilled.
→ Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin fully intend on paying the requested 10% as agreed upon. This request will be fulfilled once the legal dispute has been fully settled and all proceedings come to an end.
SM Statement 2)
As a result of the demanding disputes pursued by the opposing side, trust between both parties has been severely breached, inflicting harm on EXO's image and causing fans distress. In light of this, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin should have placed precedence on demonstrating their efforts to restore trust.
→ All attempts at settlement thus far have been pursued premised on the condition of EXO's group activities. To reiterate, CBX made it clear that they would fulfill the requests outlined by the agreement. The three have been in contact with the other EXO members themselves, conveying their wishes to participate in EXO's full group activities.
SM Statement 3)
While Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin claimed that they intended to fulfill the requests made by SM after the second mediation session held on October 2, they then filed an objection on October 16.
→ As stated, CBX relayed their intentions to fulfill the requests made by SM to pay 10% of the earnings from their individual activities and have been waiting for SM's response. However, the amount suggested by the mediation committee was an estimate unrelated to the actual amount requiring payment, and both parties remarked during the mediation session that this amount needed to be changed. When this same amount appeared on the agreement document later on, both parties filed an object simultaneously on October 16 to correct the payment amount. The objection was only procedural and is unrelated to any claims that CBX do not wish to come to an agreement.
Finally, INB100 would like to sincerely apologize to fans for the confusion and distress they may have experienced due to these legal proceedings.
We would like to reiterate that CBX will continue to do their best to fulfill the agreed upon requests, restore relations with the EXO members, and come to a settlement with SM."

Meanwhile, earlier this week, SM Entertainment announced plans for EXO's group fan meeting in December, along with the release of the group's 8th full album in the first quarter of 2026. According to the agency, the fan meeting and comeback will proceed with 6-members of EXO: Suho, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, Sehun, and Lay.
