The speculation began after Jung Il Woo posted two photos on his social media account on October 9, only to delete them shortly afterward. One photo showed him at a restaurant with the caption “Good day,” while the other featured the same caption alongside a woman. Observers noted that both were using phone cases of the same design but in different colors, which sparked speculation of a couple item.
Responding to the controversy, the agency stated, “As this concerns the actor’s private life, it is difficult to confirm. We ask for your understanding.” Despite the agency’s statement, netizens continue to speculate that the woman may be the female CEO of the brand for which Jung Il Woo works as a model, and discussions continue to circulate online.
The agency emphasized that Jung Il Woo’s professional work, including his current role in the KBS2 weekend drama 'Our Golden Days,' remains the focus.
