ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han Bin is also stepping down as MC on Mnet's 'M Countdown.'
According to IZE’s report on September 2, ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin will step down from his position as MC of Mnet’s music program 'M Countdown' after the broadcast on the 4th. Earlier, IZE exclusively reported that BOYNEXTDOOR’s Myung Jae Hyun would also be leaving, and now both will wrap up their long run with the show on the same day.
Sung Han Bin has been recognized as an MC who led the show with his stable hosting skills and signature energy. Notably, he also showcased his ability as an MC in Mnet’s dance survival program 'World of Street Woman Fighter' last May.
Sung Han Bin and Myung Jae Hyun joined M Countdown as part of a 3-MC lineup alongside RIIZE’s Sohee in January last year. The three earned strong support from K-pop fans for their unique chemistry. After Sohee stepped down in February, Sung Hanbin and Myung Jaehyun are now also leaving after 1 year and 8 months.
With all three departing, 'M Countdown' is set to welcome a new MC lineup. Given how the trio energized the program with their chemistry and distinctive hosting styles, fans are paying attention to who will take over.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE made their comeback on the 1st with their first full-length album 'NEVER SAY NEVER.' ZEROBASEONE has achieved five consecutive million-selling albums since their debut, and their 5th mini-album even ranked No. 28 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
