On September 9 KST, Lim shared a heartfelt moment with fans by posting several reunion photos of the Wonder Girls on her personal social media account, captioned, “Thank you, Wonder aunties.”
The photos featured Lim, her son, and former Wonder Girls members Sunye, Yubin, and Sohee gathered together. In one of the pictures, Lim’s son posed playfully between his mother and Yubin, stealing the spotlight with his mischievous expression.
The reunion showed the members warmly embracing Lim’s children. Sohee was seen holding Lim’s second child in a baby carrier, radiating affection and ease as if she were the baby’s favorite aunt. The children mirrored Sohee’s pose, flashing bright smiles in a touching moment of familial joy.
Previously, Sunye, Yubin, Sohee, and Lim appeared together on Yubin’s YouTube channel, further fueling nostalgia for fans. Although Sunmi was absent from that reunion as well, she later addressed the issue, saying on the same YouTube channel, “I had no choice but to miss it due to scheduling conflicts. But honestly, it felt like I should’ve been there. When I saw the thumbnail with all of them together, I thought, ‘Wow, they looked amazing.’ Each of them is beautiful individually, but when they’re together, there’s just a different kind of aura.”
Wonder Girls originally debuted in 2007 and officially disbanded in 2017. Despite going their separate ways, their continued bond—evident in reunions like this one—still resonates with longtime fans.
